Lake Bourget

                Lake Bourget (Lac du Bourget) is a lake at the southernmost end of the Jura Mountains in the department of Savoie, France. It is the largest and the deepest lake located entirely within France. The lake was formed during the last period of global glaciation in the Alps (Würm glaciation) during the Pleistocene epoch. It has a surface area of 44.5 km2 (4,450 hectares). 
                The following settlements: Aix-les-Bains, Le Bourget-du-Lac, Brison-Saint-Innocent, Conjux. Chambéry, the capital of Savoie, lies about 10 km south of the lake. The lake is bordered by the steep summits of the Mont du Chat and the Chaîne de l'Épine on the west, and Bauges Mountains on the east, which form its shores.

Seine

               Seine (Sena), is a 776 km (482 mi) long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France. It rises at Source-Seine, in the Langres plateau. It is navigable by ocean-going vessels as far as Rouen, 120 km (75 mi) from the sea. The Seine Maritime, 105.7 km (65.7 mi) from the English Channel at Le Havre to Rouen, is the only portion of the Seine used by ocean going craft. 
               The main tributaries are: Yonne, Loing, Eure, Risle, Ource, Aube, Marne, Oise, Epte. Is flowing through Troyes, Melun, Paris , Rouen, Le Havre. Seine valley had a gentle slope, so the Sena has a slow meandering course. In this valley are numerous castles and fortresses.

Fort-de-France

               Fort-de-France (Fort of France) is the capital of France's Caribbean overseas department of Martinique. It is also one of the major cities in the Caribbean. It lies at the northern entrance to the large Fort-de-France Bay, at the mouth of the Madame River. The population is 91,249.

Mont Blanc

             Mont Blanc (Monte Bianco), is the highest mountain in the Alps, Western Europe, and the European Union. It rises 4,810.45 m (15,782 ft) above sea level and is ranked 11th in the world in topographic prominence (4,695 m (15,404 ft)). 
            The mountain lies in a range called the Graian Alps, between the regions of Aosta Valley, Italy, and Haute-Savoie, France. The location of the summit is on the watershed line between the valleys of Ferret and Veny in Italy and the valleys of Montjoie Valley and Arve Valley in France. 
            The main climbing routes are: Voie Des Cristalliers (Voie Royale), La Voie des 3 Monts (La Traversée), La route des Aiguilles Grises, The Miage — Bionnassay — Mont Blanc crossing.

Mont Orohena

               Mont Orohena is a mountain located in the South Pacific, on the island of Tahiti. It is the highest point of Tahiti in the Society Islands archipelago and also the highest peak of all of French Polynesia. Tahiti is the largest island in the Windward group of French Polynesia (an overseas country of the French Republic).
               It represents the peak of the former volcano that forms the peninsula of Tahiti Nui ("big Tahiti"), the western part of the twin island of Tahiti. Mont Orohena reaches a height of 2241 m (7,352 ft) above sea level. Administratively belongs to the mountain community Mahina.

Toulouse

              Toulouse (Tolosa) is a city in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France. It lies on the banks of the River Garonne, 150 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea and 300 from the Atlantic Ocean, and 590 km (366 mi) away from Paris. With 1,202,889 inhabitants as of 1 January 2008, the Toulouse metropolitan area is the fourth-largest in France.

Lake Geneva

               Lake Geneva (Lac Léman, Genfersee) is a lake in Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe. 59.53% 345.31 km2 (133.32 sq mi) of it comes under the jurisdiction of Switzerland (cantons of Vaud, Geneva, and Valais), and 40.47% 234.71 km2 (90.62 sq mi) under France (Haute-Savoie). The average surface elevation of 372 m (1,220 ft) above sea level is controlled by the Seujet Dam in Geneva. Geneva lake lies on the course of the Rhone which is entering the lake between Villeneuve and Le Bouveret.
              The main islands are: Île de Peilz, Château de Chillon, Île de Salagnon, Île de la Harpe, Île Rousseau, Île de Choisi. The main settlements around Lake Geneva are: Geneva, Lausanne, Evian, Montreux, Thonon, and Vevey.

Pic d'Anie

              Pic d'Anie (Auñamendi) is a peak of the Pyrenees of France, it is 2,507 metres (8,225 ft) high and it is located very close to the border with Spain. It is located in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, near the pass of La Pierre Saint-Martin. 
              The three main access ways to the peak are: Belagua in Spain and Pierre-Saint Martin and Lescun (French department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques), also known as the French side. Surrounding the almost perfectly pyramidal Pic d'Anie is the spectacular karst landscape of Larra, in the Larra-Belagua massif (Navarre).

Paris

             Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It is situated on the river Seine , in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region (or Paris Region, French: Région parisienne). As of January 2009 the city of Paris, within its administrative limits (the 20 arrondissements) largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,234,105 and a metropolitan population of 12,161,542, and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.

Garonne river

            Garonne (Garona) is a river in southwest France and northern Spain, with a length of 602 km (374 mi). The Garonne's headwaters are to be found in the Aran Valley in the Pyrenees. The Garonne is one of the few rivers in the world that exhibit a tidal bore. The Garonne plays an important role in inland shipping. The river not only allows seagoing vessels to reach the port of Bordeaux but also forms part of the "Canal des Deux Mers", linking the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing a shorter and safer way for goods to pass from the agricultural areas of the South of France to the Atlantic.

            The following cities are lying around the river: Gironde,  Bordeaux, Toulouse , Agen. The main tributaries are Arize, Louge, Ariège, Touch, Gimone, Tarn, Arrats, Gers, Baïse, Lot, Dropt.
