Śniardwy lake

              Śniardwy lake (der Spirdingsee) is a lake in the Masurian Lake District of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland. It is the largest lake in Poland with an area of 113.8 square kilometres (43.9 sq mi). It is 22.1 kilometres (13.7 mi) long and 13.4 kilometres (8.3 mi) wide. The maximum depth is 23 metres (75 feet). 
              Śniardwy was formed by retreating ice sheet and draining floodwaters occurring as the result of ice calving ahead of the receding glacier. Among the eight islands are: Szeroki Ostrów, Czarci Ostrów, Wyspa Pajęcza, Wyspa Kaczor and others.

Warsaw

                 Warsaw (Warszawa, Warschau, Varsovia) is the capital and largest city of Poland. It is located on the Vistula River, roughly 260 kilometres (160 mi) from the Baltic Sea and 300 kilometres (190 mi) from the Carpathian Mountains. Its population is estimated at 1,708,491 residents within a greater metropolitan area of 2,666,278 residents, making Warsaw the 6th most populous city proper in the European Union. 
                 The main landmarks are Biblioteka Uniwersytecka w Warszawie (Warsaw University Library), Panny Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Kościół Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Marii Panny), Lazienki Park and Palace on the Water (pałac Łazienkowski), Ostrogski Palace Chopin Museum (Pałac Ostrogskich, or Zamek Ostrogskich), Pałac Czapskich, Plac Bankowy (Bank square), Sejm of Republic of Poland (Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej), Kolumna Zygmunta III Wazy (Sigismund's Column),Warsaw Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki - PKIN), Politechnika Warszawska (Warsaw University of Technology), Wilanów Palace (Pałac w Wilanowie), Złote Tarasy.

Vistula

               The Vistula (Wisla, Weichsel) is the longest and the most important river in Poland, at 1,047 km (651 miles) in length. The watershed area of the Vistula is 194,424 km² (75,068 sq mi), of which 168,699 km² (65,135 sq mi) lies within Poland (splitting the country in half).It  rises at Barania Góra in the south of Poland, 1220 meters above sea level in the Silesian Beskids (western part of Carpathian Mountains). It empties into the Vistula Lagoon ( Zalew Wiślany) or directly into the Gdańsk Bay of the Baltic Sea with a delta.

          It is passing several large Polish cities along its way, including Kraków, Sandomierz,Warsaw, Płock, Włocławek, Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Świecie, Grudziądz, Tczew and Gdańsk.
