Budgewoi Lake

              Budgewoi Lake , a lagoon that is part of the Tuggerah Lakes, is located within the Wyong Shire local government area in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The lake is located near the settlement of Budgewoi and is situated about 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Sydney. 
               Drawing its catchment from a small creek and the southern half of Lake Munmorah, Budgewoi Lake is located north of Wallarah Point and is bounded by Toukley, Budgewoi, Buff Point, Charmhaven and Gorokan.

Lake Alexandrina

                  Lake Alexandrina is a lake in South Australia adjacent to the coast of the Southern Ocean, about 100 kilometres south-east of Adelaide. Lake Alexandrina is located north of Encounter Bay and east of Fleurieu Peninsula. The Murray River is the major river to flow into Lake Alexandrina. Others include the Bremer, Angas, and Finniss Rivers, all from the eastern side of the southern Mount Lofty Ranges. 
                   The lake is shallow and contains a number of islands near the southern end. Hindmarsh Island is reputed to be the largest island in the world with salt water on one side and fresh water on the other. Lake Alexandrina is connected by a narrow channel to the smaller Lake Albert to the south-east.

Perth

                 Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. It is the fourth most populous city in Australia, with an estimated population of 1,832,114.

Lachlan River

              Lachlan River (Deadmans Creek, Boorungullen Chain, Mutbilly Creek) is a perennial river that is part of the Murrumbidgee catchment within the Murray–Darling basin, is located in the Southern Tablelands, Central West, and Riverina districts of New South Wales, Australia. It had a lenght of 1,440 km (895 mi). 
              The main tributaries are: Crookwell, Abercrombie, Boorowa, and Belubula. Is flowing through Breadalbane, Reids Flat, Cowra, Gooloogong, Forbes, Euabalong, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Hillston, Booligal, and Oxley. Lachlan River it flows into Murrumbidgee River. It is the only river in New South Wales with significant wetlands along its length, rather than just towards its end, including Lake Cowal-Wilbertroy, Lake Cargelligo and Lake Brewster, and nine wetlands of national significance.

Sydney

             Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. It is on the south-east coast of the Tasman Sea. It had a population of 4,627,345.

Great Victoria Desert

            The Great Victoria Desert is a sparsely populated desert area in Western Australia and South Australia. The Great Victoria is the largest desert in Australia and consists of many small sandhills, grassland plains, areas with a closely packed surface of pebbles (called desert pavement or gibber plains) and salt lakes. It covers an area of 424,400 square kilometres (163,900 sq mi) from the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia to the Gawler Ranges in South Australia. 
             Parts of the Great Victoria Desert are protected areas including Mamungari Conservation Park (formerly known as Unnamed Conservation Park) in South Australia, a large area of pristine arid zone wilderness which possesses cultural significance and is one of the fourteen World Biosphere Reserves in Australia. Habitat is also preserved in the large Aboriginal local government area of Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara in South Australia and in the Great Victoria Desert Nature Reserve of Western Australia.

Lake St Clair

             Lake St Clair is a lake in the Central Highlands area of Tasmania, Australia. It forms part of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. It has an area of 1,114 km2 (430 sq mi), and a maximum depth of 200 m, making it Australia's deepest lake.  An 'eco-friendly' resort has been founded at Pumphouse Point at Lake St Clair.
             Lake St Clair is included in Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. The park contains many walking trails, and is where hikes along the well-known Overland Track usually begins. In this park it can be also found Cradle Mountain and Barn Bluff in the northern end, Mount Pelion East, Mount Pelion West, Mount Oakleigh and Mount Ossa in the middle.

Darling River

             Darling River is the third longest river in Australia, measuring 1,472 kilometres (915 mi) from its source in northern New South Wales to its confluence with the Murray River at Wentworth, New South Wales. Including its longest contiguous tributaries it is 2,844 km (1,767 mi) long, making it the longest river system in Australia. The river has a high salt content and declining water quality. Much of the land that the Darling flows through are plains and is therefore relatively flat, having an average gradient of just 16 mm per kilometre.
            The main tributaries are: Barwon River, Little Bogan River, Culgoa River, Warrego River, Paroo River. Is crossing the following cities: Bourke, Wilcannia, Menindee, Wentworth.

Lake Awoonga

               Lake Awoonga was formed on the Boyne River by the dam located 30 km (19 mi) from Gladstone, in Central Queensland, Australia. It is approximately 30 minutes drive from Gladstone, via Benaraby. It had a surface of 6,750 ha. When full the lake is 40 m (111 feet) above sea level. Approximately 200,000 fish are released each year including barramundi and some mangrove jack.
              Camping is permitted at two places on Lake Awoonga, the Caravan Park and the Boynedale Bush Camp. The Boynedale Bush camp is a basic camping facility around the southern side of Lake Awoonga, ten minutes from the townships of Many Peaks and Ubobo. Access is via a dirt road from the Gladstone to Monto Road which may become boggy in wet weather.

Mount Townsend

               Mount Townsend is the second highest peak of mainland Australia. Located in Kosciuszko National Park in the Snowy Mountains (part of the Great Dividing Range), Mount Townsend is 3.68 kilometres (2.29 mi) north of Australia's highest mainland peak, Mount Kosciuszko.
               Mount Townsend had an elevation of 2,209 m (7,247 ft) and a prominence of 189 m (620 ft). Although lower than Mount Kosciuszko, Mount Townsend has a more craggy peak and is arguably more dominant than the relatively round-topped Mt. Kosciuszko. Due to ease of climbing Mt. Kosciuszko, and the much lower accessibility of Mount Townsend, a tradition has emerged of each person who climbs Mount Townsend carrying a rock from the bottom in the pack, and leaving it at the top, with the goal of making Mount Townsend the taller of the two relatively similar in height peaks.

Mount Kosciuszko

              Mount Kosciuszko is a mountain located in the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. With a height of 2,228 metres (7,310 ft) above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Australia.  Kosciuszko National Park is the location of the downhill ski slopes closest to Canberra and Sydney, containing the Thredbo, Charlotte Pass, and Perisher Blue ski resorts.
              The name of the mountain was previously spelt "Mount Kosciusko", an Anglicisation, but the spelling "Mount Kosciuszko" was officially adopted in 1997 by the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales. The peak and the surrounding areas are snow-covered in winter and spring (usually beginning in June and continuing until October or later).

Tanami Desert

             At 184,500 km² (71,235 square miles) Tanami Desert is Australia's third largest desert. Is located in northern Australia, in the Northern Territory. It has a rocky terrain with small hills. The Tanami was the Northern Territory's final frontier and was not fully explored until well into the twentieth century. It is traversed by the Tanami Track. The Tanami Desert is Kukatja and Walpiri country. The Tjurabalan live at the edge of the desert.
             According to government commissions, the Tanami desert is uniquely "one of the most important biological areas to be found in Australia particularly as it provides refuge for several of Australia's rare and endangered species."

Eyre lake

              Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) is the lowest point in Australia, at approximately 15 m (49 ft) (AHD) below sea level, and, on the rare occasions that it fills, it is the largest lake in Australia and 18th largest in the world. It is the focal point of the vast Lake Eyre Basin and is found in South Australia, some 700 km (435 mi) north of Adelaide. His maximum surface are is 9,500 km2 (3,668 sq mi). The -15 m altitude usually attributed to Lake Eyre refers to the deepest parts of the lake floor, in Belt Bay and the Madigan Gulf. The shoreline lies at -9 m.
