Mumbai

               Mumbai (Bombay) is the capital city of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the most populous city in India, and the fourth most populous city in the world, with a total metropolitan area population of approximately 20.5 million. Along with the neighbouring urban areas, including the cities of Navi Mumbai and Thane, it is one of the most populous urban regions in the world.

Ahmedabad

              Ahmedabad (Amdavad, Karnavati), is the largest city and former capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. The city is the administrative headquarter of Ahmedabad district and is the judicial capital of Gujarat as the Gujarat High Court is located here. With a population of more than 5.5 million and an extended population of 6.3 million, it is the fifth largest city and seventh largest metropolitan area of India. It is located on the banks of the River Sabarmati. 
               The main landmarks of Ahmedabad are: Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Kankaria lake, Ellis Bridge, Fort and Gates of Ahmedabad, Hatheesing Temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Nehru Bridge, Jama Masjid, Sabarmati Riverfront, Calico Mills, Law garden, Victoria Garden, Parimal Garden, Gujarat High Court, Amdavad ni Gufa, Sanskar Kendra Museum, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial, Gujarat University, Louis Kahn Plaza, Ahmedabad Doordarshan.

Thar Desert

              Thar Desert (थार मरुधर, थार मरुस्थल, صحراےَ تھر, ٿر ريگستان), also known as the Great Indian Desert, is a large, arid region in the northwestern part of the Indian subcontinent and forms a natural boundary running along the border between India and Pakistan. With an area of more than 200,000 km2 (77,000 sq mi), it is the world's 18th largest subtropical desert. 
               There are eleven national parks in the Thar desert area, the largest of which are the Nara Desert Wildlife Sanctuary and the Rann of Kutch. There are a number of salt water lakes in Thar desert. These are Sambhar, Pachpadra, Tal Chhapar, Falaudi and Lunkaransar where Sodium chloride salt is produced from salt water.

Chennai

               Chennai (Madras, சென்னை) is the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, it is a major commercial, cultural, economic and educational center in South India. It is also known as the "Cultural Capital of South India". According to the provisional results of 2011 census, the city had 4.68 million residents making it the sixth most populous city in India.

Anamudi

          Anamudi (Anai Mudi, ஆனை, ആനമുടി) is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India, at an elevation of 2,695 metres (8,842 ft), and a topographic prominence of 2,479 metres (8,133 ft). The name Anamudi literally translates to "elephant's forehead," a reference to the resemblance of the mountain to an elephant's head. 
         It is located in the southern region of Eravikulam National Park at the junction of the Cardamom Hills, the Anamala Hills and the Palani Hills. Anamudi and the Eravikulam National Park surrounding it is home to the largest surviving population of the Nilgiri Tahr(Nilgiritragus hylocrius)(ibex). It is the state animal of Tamil Nadu.

Nanda Devi

              Nanda Devi (नन्दा देवी पर्वत) is the second highest mountain in India (excluding Pakistan-administered Kashmir) and the highest entirely within the country (Kangchenjunga being on the border of India and Nepal); owing to this geography it was the highest known mountain in the world until computations on Dhaulagiri by western surveyors in 1808. It was also the highest mountain in India before Sikkim joined the Indian Union. 
              It is part of the Garhwal Himalayas, and is located in the state of Uttarakhand, between the Rishiganga valley on the west and the Goriganga valley on the east.

Bhopal

        Bhopal is the capital of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of Bhopal District and Bhopal Division. The city was the capital of the former Bhopal State. Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes for its various natural as well as artificial lakes and is also one of the greenest cities in India. It has a population of 1,795,648 in 2011.  
        The main landmarks are Kalighat Temple, Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Platinum Plaza, Taj Mahal Palace, Taj-ul-Masajid, Vidhan Bhawan, Barkatullah University, Ayushman College, Shyama Palli park, Bharat Nagar park.

Saser Kangri

           Saser Kangri (or Sasir Kangri) is a mountain in India. It is the highest peak in the Saser Muztagh, the easternmost subrange of the Karakoram range. This massif lies toward the northwestern end of the Saser Muztagh, at the head of the North Shukpa Kunchang Glacier, a major glacier which drains the eastern slopes of the group. The Sakang and Pukpoche Glaciers head on the western side of the group, and drain into the Nubra River.
           The Saser Kangri massif consists of five named peaks: Saser Kangri I (7,672 m (25,171 ft)), Saser Kangri II East, Saser Kangri II West, Saser Kangri III, Saser Kangri IV.

Mahanadi river

               The Mahanadi is a major river in East Central India. It drains an area of around 141,600 km2 and has a total course of 858 km. The river flows through the states of Chhattisgarh and Orissa.  Prior to the construction of the Hirakud Dam, the Mahanadi was navigable from its mouth up to Arrang, about a 150 km from its source. However numerous barrages apart from the Hirakud have put an end to that.
              The tributaries are Seonath, Telen and Ib. It's crossing the following cities: Sambalpur, Cuttack, Sonepur, Birmaharajpur, Subalaya, Boudh.   
              Prior to the construction of the Hirakud Dam, the Mahanadi was navigable from its 
mouth up to Arrang, about a 150 km from its source. However numerous barrages apart
 from the Hirakud have put an end to that. Today, boats are restricted to the delta region 
and the Hirakud reservoir.

Indus river

              The Indus River (Hindi: सिन्धु नदी Sindhu, Punjabi: سندھ Sindh, ) is a major river which flows through Pakistan. It also has courses through western Tibet (in China) and Northern India. Originating in the Tibetan plateau in the vicinity of Lake Mansarovar, the river runs a course through the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan and flows through Pakistan in a southerly direction along the entire length of Pakistan to merge into the Arabian Sea near the port city of Karachi in Sindh. The Indus forms the delta of Pakistan mentioned in the Vedic Rigveda as Sapta Sindhu and the Iranian Zend Avesta as Hapta Hindu (both terms meaning "seven rivers").The total length of the river is 3,180 km (1,980 mi). It is Pakistan's longest river.
           The main tributaries are Zanskar, Chenab, Satluj, Shyok, Gilgit and Kabul.
