River Tiber

              River Tiber (Tevere) is the third-longest river in Italy, rising in the Apennine Mountains in Emilia-Romagna and flowing 406 kilometres (252 mi) through Umbria and Lazio, where it is joined by the Aniene river, to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
              The river has achieved lasting fame as the main watercourse of the city of Rome, founded on its eastern banks. In ancient Rome, executed criminals were thrown into the Tiber. People executed at the Gemonian stairs were thrown in the Tiber during the later part of the reign of the emperor Tiberius.

Amu Darya

                 Amu Darya (Amudaryo, Oxos, Амударё ,آمودریا) is a major river in Central Asia. It is formed by the junction of the Vakhsh and Panj rivers. The river's total length is 2,400 kilometres (1,500 mi) The river is navigable for over 1,450 kilometres (900 mi). All of the water comes from the high mountains in the south where annual precipitation can be over 1,000 mm (39 in). 
                 The main tributaries of Amu Darya are: Panj River, Vakhsh River, Surkhan Darya, Sherabad River, Zeravshan River. Use of water from the Amu Darya for irrigation has been a major contributing factor to the shrinking of the Aral Sea since the late 1950s.

Arkansas River

                Arkansas River is a major tributary of the Mississippi River. The Arkansas generally flows to the east and southeast as it traverses the US states of Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. At 2,364 km (1,469 miles) it is the sixth-longest river in the United States, the second-longest tributary in the Mississippi–Missouri system, and the 45th longest river in the world. Its origin is in the Rocky Mountains in Lake County, Colorado, near Leadville. 
               The main tributaries are: Fountain Creek, Pawnee River, Verdigris River, Neosho River, Cimarron River, Canadian River, Poteau River. Arkansas river is flowing through Pueblo, Wichita, Tulsa, Muskogee, Fort Smith, Little Rock, Pine Bluff.

Klarälven

                 Klarälven is a river flowing through Norway and Sweden. Together with Göta älv, which it is called as the river has passed through the lake Vänern, thus regarded as an entity, Göta älv-Klarälven is the longest river in Scandinavia and in the Nordic countries and its Swedish part the longest river of Sweden. It had a lenght of 460 km (286 mi). 
                  It emanates from Lake Rogen in Härjedalen, Sweden, and then passes through the Norwegian Hedmark, where it flows through the lake Femunden. There it is known as Femundelva and Trysilelva. The rest of the river, the longest part, flows through Värmland to ultimately discharge in a delta into Vänern at Karlstad. In its turn, Vänern drains then into Göta älv, reaching the sea at Gothenburg. Klarälven has clean and fresh water, suitable for bathing.

Tagus river

                 Tagus river (Tajo, Tejo) is the longest river on the Iberian Peninsula. It is 1,038 km (645 mi) long, 716 km (445 mi) in Spain, 47 km (29 mi) along the border between Portugal and Spain and 275 km (171 mi) in Portugal, where it empties into the Atlantic Ocean near Lisbon. 
                  The main tributaries of Tagus are Jarama, Guadarrama, Alberche, Tiétar, Alagón, Zêzere, Guadiela, Algodor, Gévalo, Ibor, Almonte, Salor, Sever, Sorraia. It's crossing the following cities: Trillo, Sacedon, Aranjuez, Toledo, El Carpio de Tajo, Malpica de Tajo, Talavera de la Reina, Alcántara, Abrantes, Constância, Santarém, Lisboa/Lisabona.

Clutha River

                 Clutha River (Mata-Au River) is the second longest river in New Zealand (after Waikato River) flowing south-southeast 338 kilometres (210 mi) through Central and South Otago from Lake Wanaka in the Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean. The Clutha River is known for its scenery, gold-rush history, and swift turquoise waters. 
                  The main tributaries of Clutha River are: Cardrona River, Hawea River, Manuherikia River, Tuapeka River, Lindis River, Kawarau River, Pomahaka River. It's flowing through Alexandra, Wanaka, Cromwell, Roxburgh, Balclutha. There are two hydroelectric power stations, the Clyde Dam and the Roxburgh Dam, located on the river providing electricity to the New Zealand power grid.

Seine

               Seine (Sena), is a 776 km (482 mi) long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France. It rises at Source-Seine, in the Langres plateau. It is navigable by ocean-going vessels as far as Rouen, 120 km (75 mi) from the sea. The Seine Maritime, 105.7 km (65.7 mi) from the English Channel at Le Havre to Rouen, is the only portion of the Seine used by ocean going craft. 
               The main tributaries are: Yonne, Loing, Eure, Risle, Ource, Aube, Marne, Oise, Epte. Is flowing through Troyes, Melun, Paris , Rouen, Le Havre. Seine valley had a gentle slope, so the Sena has a slow meandering course. In this valley are numerous castles and fortresses.

São Francisco River

               São Francisco River (Rio São Francisco) is a river in Brazil. With a length of 2,914 kilometres (1,811 mi), it is the longest river that runs entirely in Brazilian territory, and the fourth longest in South America after the Amazon, the Paraná and the Madeira. The São Francisco originates in Serra da Canastra mountain range in the central-western part of the state of Minas Gerais. 
               The main tributaries are: Paraopeba River, Abaeté River, Das Velhas River, Jequitaí River, Paracatu River, Urucuia River, Verde Grande River, Carinhanha River, Corrente River, Grande River. Is flowing through Pirapora, São Francisco, Januária, Bom Jesus da Lapa, Petrolina, Juazeiro, and Paulo Afonso.

Shinano River

               Shinano River (信濃川, Chikuma River, 千曲川) is the longest and largest river in Japan with a lenght of 367 km (228 miles). It flows from Nagano Prefecture to Niigata Prefecture. 
               Shinano river rises from Mount Kobushi on the border of Saitama, Yamanashi and Nagano, and flows northwest to meet the Sai River from Matsumoto. Kawanakajima (川中島), the junction of the Chikuma and the Sai, is the historic site where the Battles of Kawanakajima broke out. It turns to the northeast and near the city of Niigata flows into the Sea of ​​Japan, in the Sado Strait stretch.
               Is flowing through: Saku, Komoro, Tōmi, Ueda, Chikuma, Chikuma, Nagano, Nakano, Iiyama, Tōkamachi, Ojiya, Nagaoka, Sanjō, Kamo, Niigata.

Rio Grande

             Rio Grande (Río Bravo del Norte) is a river that flows from southwestern Colorado in the United States to the Gulf of Mexico. Along the way it forms part of the Mexico–United States border. It had a lenght of 1,896 mi (3,051 km). The Rio Grande rises in the western part of the Rio Grande National Forest in the U.S. state of Colorado. 
             The main tributaries of Rio Grande are: Red River, Rio Hondo, Rio Pueblo de Taos, Embudo River, Santa Fe River, Galisteo Creek, Alamito Creek, Terlingua Creek, Pecos River, Devils River, Conejos River, Rio Chama, Rio Conchos, Rio Salado, Rio Alamo, San Juan River. It flows through Española, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, El Paso, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Matamoros.

Lachlan River

              Lachlan River (Deadmans Creek, Boorungullen Chain, Mutbilly Creek) is a perennial river that is part of the Murrumbidgee catchment within the Murray–Darling basin, is located in the Southern Tablelands, Central West, and Riverina districts of New South Wales, Australia. It had a lenght of 1,440 km (895 mi). 
              The main tributaries are: Crookwell, Abercrombie, Boorowa, and Belubula. Is flowing through Breadalbane, Reids Flat, Cowra, Gooloogong, Forbes, Euabalong, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Hillston, Booligal, and Oxley. Lachlan River it flows into Murrumbidgee River. It is the only river in New South Wales with significant wetlands along its length, rather than just towards its end, including Lake Cowal-Wilbertroy, Lake Cargelligo and Lake Brewster, and nine wetlands of national significance.

Ob river

             Ob river (Обь) is a major river in western Siberia, Russia and is the world's seventh longest river (2,962 km (1,841 mi)). It is the westernmost of the three great Siberian rivers that flow into the Arctic Ocean (the other two being the Yenisei River and the Lena River). The Ob forms 16 miles (26 km) southwest of Biysk in Altai Krai at the confluence of the Biya and Katun rivers and empties in the Gulf of Ob which is the world's longest estuary. 
             The main tributaries are: Katun River, Anuy River, Charysh River, Aley River, Parabel River, Vasyugan River, Irtysh River, Northern Sosva River, Biya River, Berd River, Inya River, Tom River, Chulym River, Ket River, Tym River, Vakh River, Pim River, Kazim River. It's crossing the following cities: Biysk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut.
