Tianjin

              Tianjin (天津) is a metropolis in northern China and one of the five national central cities of the People's Republic of China. In terms of urban population, Tianjin is the fourth largest in China, after Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. Tianjin is a dual-core city, with its main urban area (including the old city) located along the Hai River ( 海河), which connects to the Yellow (黄河) and Yangtze Rivers (长江) via the Grand Canal (大运河); and Binhai (滨海), a New Area urban core located east of the old city, on the coast of Bohai Sea. It had a population of 12,938,224. 
               The main landmarks of Tianjin are: Concessions era bank building, Jinwan Square, Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (天津经济技术开发区), Guanyinhao Bank, Astor Hotel, Binjiang Avenue, Drum Tower, Five Main Avenues (五大道), Tianjin Italian Style Town (意式风情区), Hai River Park, Luzutang Boxer Rebellion Museum, Memorial Hall to Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, Nanshi Cuisine Street, Tianjin St. Joseph Cathedral (Xikai (西开) Catholic Church), Temple of Confucius Wen Miao, Temple of Great Compassion (大悲院), Century Clock, Tianjin Ancient Culture Street (古文化街), Tianjin Eye (天津之眼), Tianjin Museum, Tianjin Radio and Television Tower, Tianjin Water Park (天津水上公园), Tianjin World Financial Center (津塔), Tianjin Railway Station (天津站), Tianjin West Railway Station (天津西站), Tianjin Museum, Tianjin University (天津大学), Tianjin Normal University (天津师范大学).
