Mar del Plata

           Mar del Plata is an Argentine city located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, 400 km (249 mi) south of Buenos Aires. Mar del Plata is the second largest city of Buenos Aires Province (Provincia de Buenos Aires). With a population of 614,350 as per the 2010 census, it is the 7th largest city in Argentina.
          The main landmarks are Cathedral St Peter and Cecilia, Faro Punta Mogotes,  Juan Carlos Castagnino Municipal art Museum, Playa, Museum of the Port of Mar del Plata, Museum of Natural Science, Museum of the Sea (El Museo del Mar), Villa Victoria, Villa Normandy.
